i looked at all my options with an m22, don't expect for any of these guys to give you a horsepower/torque rating on their transmissions, believe me i've asked a whole lot of transmission guys. and as previously explained, if the tranny is built up and your good at shifting, they can last awhile
i advise crappy drivers to stay away from them....500 ft of torque going to the m22 while missing a gear isn't exactly a sound most people wanna hear

Most guys will not give a rating on hp or tq rating because of the liability,,, or else they give a real low number to cover there butts.... If they told you that the transmission would take 600 ft lbs and you put it in a big tire car with 575 ft lbs and go out and tire shake the thing to death it's going to break the transmission and then they would be liable to fix it..Not the transmissions fault but because they gave a number most customers would expect it to be fixed for free......
My warehouse guy tell me they are safe at 450hp.... But i would guess they could take almost double that in a car thats set-up correct... The original m-22's were raced in cars that had more then 450 ft lbs and they worked well, but did break sometimes... So with the new engineered pieces i would think the tq rating should be greatly increased.....
So i doubt you will ever get a realistic number, but if you do and the transmission breaks i am sure the guy is going to forget what he told you...L.O.L.
If your interested in buying one do your homework,,,not everything is as it looks...when it comes to compairing prices....

Buying New M-22 Super Case Trans
I am going to bite the bullet and buy one of these M-22 new super case transmissions (mainly because of the resale value) I have two places that sell them one is cheaper by $105.00 but both come with a 1 year warranty. Do you guys know anything about these guys or do you know of a better place. Do I go with the 10 or 26 spline input I don't ride the car heavy and it is will never be on the strip. I currently have the 10 spline and don't necessarly want to get a whole new set up.
Also I have a centerforce 10.5" clutch and pressure plate that is fine and has about 2000 miles on it no racing just banging the gears a little on the street. Should I replace it with a stronger clutch and if so what brand.
As always your opinions are always appreciated
