at least your car is way BETTER than a street beast......
And the company ..HAD.. a GOOD reputation...
That's why I almost always suggest Wescott.......or if a WILLYS.....Outlaw........but I have heard some " unkind things " about Outlaw too.....
Oh well.......Henry did pretty good.......if you can find one not rusted to pieces..

Geeze makes me feel fortunate, a firm worse than Gibbon . Of course I knew about Street Beast before I bought Gibbon, for all the good it did me .

Your best bet would be to contact the Florida Attorney General's office. They have a long history of these type problems and I'm sure the Attorney General's office has a file on them about a foot thick. I do know at one time StreetBeast was only being allowed to operate under the Florida authority's direct supervision but I don't know if that's still the case.
Your next best option would be to go to a show where they have a booth and raise he11. Make sure you make enough noise to get everyone's attention (including potential customers) and I guarantee you'll get your problem fixed in a hurry.

If I only knew
Thanx for the advise about street beasts, I am finding out now about what a sorry business that they run. I have tryed to contact them several times butcant get any help. Ive had nothing but problems with them since I bought the car. I ordered my willys with the pro package, and when I finally received the car they had sent me a pro body with the tubes for the big tires and a street chasie that I could only get a 8" wide wheel. Ive tryed several times to get it corrected but couldnt even get the sales man that Ive ordered it from.Oh well after several hour of cutting it apart and redoing every thing I finally got some fatty 16" wide wheel on it that are cool.I never got one bit of instuctions with it either. I hope anny one that reads this post will look else where if planing on buying a hot rod. Thanx again Bill

First you have my condolences on buying a Street Beast. Although the company has been around for about 30 years it has been in trouble with the Florida authorities almost that long and has changed names at least 4 times that I'm aware of. Do a search on this board for StreetBeast and you will find several discussions about this company's problematic history.
Sorry that I can't help directly with your hinge problem but you might try calling the company to see if they can help. If not, and I expect that's the case, you may have to purchase some aftermarket units and fabricate mounts for them to get everything to work correctly.

door hinges on 41 willys street beast
has anyone ever had to hang a door on a 41 willys street beast? The hinges that come with the car just dont seem to fit like they should, and Im wondering if anyone knows of a different hinge system that would work?
