I have a 2003 trailblazer and can't seem to locate the fuel filter. I have begun to experience a miss when you accelerate and am guessing that perhaps this is the problem. If anybody has any other thoughts please share. I recently also began having the CES light come on and the code is p1481. I think that may be tied to the fan however as it sound like it is running on high sometimes (it makes it sound like the truck is in low gear). It is a vortec 6 cylinder. Also I am not the smartest guy in the world when it comes to new cars but I can't seem to find the spark plugs either.

thanks

This is a coil over plug set up, plugs should run down the center of the valve cover, the only thing you will see is 6 identical looking things that go through the valve cover, they will heve a electrical connector on the top, with a hold down bolt. remove these and you will find your plugs.

you all have been very helpful and I wanted to ask another question. I post this question seperately before thinking to just add it here. I now have what appears to be a flooding (bogging down) issue. From a stop it does not do it, but when you are traveling and have to pass somebody and punch it it bogs down and sounds like it is flooding itself then takes off. Any advise?

thanks
