man i must be gettin old i really cant remember if all cars have them in the same spot. some newer cars have seperate panels that will group some relays together take a good look at your diagram it will be in there
if you have changed the resistor i would also make sure that the contacts on the plug are in good shape. a lot of currant flows though that resistor and if you have a bad connection the plug will start to melt and give you lots of problems.

|MI2600||The resistor has a four-wire plug going to it. The only other wires are the power (pink) wire and ground on the motor. Is this relay nearby? I'll check the schematic again.|

there is a seperate relay for the high speed in gm cars its called the high blower relay switch there's also a high blower resistor its usually located inside the evaporator/blower housing if you take out the bolts it looks like a spring coil the're the things to check.good luck!!
ok i reread your post you ckecked the resistor so your problem is the relay it is usually the three prong plug on the blower housing, im not sure if its in the same place on all gm cars let me know if this makes sense.

|woodz428||not much info, but if you changed all the parts you mentioned, I'd make sure it has a good ground. Poor grounds can cause all sorts of weird problems, it could be back feeding through another circuit on low and allowing it to function.|

I have an '86 El Camino with a heater blower problem. The blower works at the lower three settings, but not on high. I've changed out the switch and motor and checked the resistor. The GM schematic doesn't show anything else. Is there some secret?
