Introduction and Clutch, Gearbox Question

Hi, my name is Alex and I live in Gauteng, South Africa. I'm a 38 years old and am currently busy building a Cobra with Jaguar XJ6 suspension and Ford 302 "hot" motor. I have blown my original C4 gearbox and want to revert back to a manual transmission. Some guys in the club have used the Supra manual box and others opt for the BMW 5 speed Getrag 265 gearbox. The advantage is the 0.81 overdrive in 5th gear - saves fuel on those long breakfast runs. Is there anyone out there with advise please. I have found a custom bell housing to marry the Ford 302 with the BMW getrag box but I am not certain about the flywheel, pressure plate and clutch combination. Any advice would be appreciated.
