|Henry Highrise||I would get a new one....but if you do get a used one you need to take it to a radiator shop and get it checked out as it may be worse than the one that you have. If it passes inspection and pressure test then I would get the radiator shop to clean it.|

Any 78-88 G body style GM rad will fit your car.Monte's,Cutlass,Grand Prix,Regal. One from an air conditioned model should work nicely.Make sure to use the upper and lower shrouds.A clutch fan is also a good idea, you might find a used one but it is probably better to get one new.If they have sat for any time and were turned the wrong way(upside down) they might not work.

This is the first time I heard of using an egg. Apparently it is a decent temperary fix. When I was young my dad told me to put a teaspoon of ground black pepper in my radiator that was leaking pretty good. It fixed it and I drove it for a long time that way, never leaked again. This was an older style brass radiator, I don't know if black pepper will work as well on the newer plastic tanks.
For $200 you should be able to find a decent radiator for that car. There are a LOT of them out there. I bet if you shopped arounf you could even find an aluminum one for $200.

|Classix_Lover||What vehicle are you trying to put the radiator into? Btw, you can always drop an egg into ur radiator and it'll plug the hole right up Of course, I would never do it on mine heheh|

I need a new radiator for my car because it has a hole in it, what are some stock radiatos that i could find at a salvage yard that will keep my sbc 350 cool, its going to have 300-400hp. and will be at the racing on weekends, would like a 90's camaro firebird work, or a bigger truck. im just on a budget and cant spend over 200$ for it.
