I dont want to swap for a different rear end...

nevermind I would suggest to you, find a 78-80's W36 optioned Trans Am...and grab the whole rear end with the discs, proportioning valve, and master cylinder...I seem to remember the rear wheels had a one more offset...don't remember why though...for clearance or just for looks?...maybe someone else will speak up...Cheers!

swapping drums to discs

I've got a 71 camaro 10 bolt Drum brake rear end with 28 spline axles and 5-on 4.75" bolt circle.
i want to switch from drum to disc brakes...

do I need to use a disc brake system from a 70' to 81 camaro, or will other GM disc brakes form a 10 bolt rear end (not necessarily off of a camaro) bolt onto my existing rear end??

if so... what will work???
