cornfieldcars S-10 seats will work. I also seen one of these trucks with an Olds Toranado seat in it. I believe the olds was an 80's vintage. I'm in the same boat as you. I pulled the seat out of my donor truck, a 79 Chevy with a bench seat which was too long. It could be cut down but I know there are seats that will fit better. Let us know what you find.

50 Chevy Pick Up--Finding a 60/40

Saw a S10 in one yesterday and it fit nicely. It wasn't a 60-40 split though.

Good Frosty Some Ford-Rangers had 60/40 bench seats. Mine had them before I took the "60" part off, (It was really nasty...) and used its brackets to put another bucket seat in. Column-Shifter/Bucket seats....

advanced design Perhaps an S10 or GMC Sonoma would work. The full size Chevy truck seat will physically fit but the drivers seating location is to the left of the steering wheel.

trifivefan Thanks, HomeBrew. I will look into the mid 80's seats.

50 Chevy Pick Up--Finding a 60/40

I am going to take a guess at this. I had a pair of 60's buckets in my 51 and they almost touched each other, maybe six inches apart. I had a 85 Buick Century with the 60-40 split and I think it would have been a close match in width to the truck. Take a look at mid 80's mid size cars - bring your tape measure along. Maybe somebody here has used a newer model and will give you an answer. Good luck.

50 Chevy Pick Up--Finding a 60/40

I have a 1950 Chevy pickup and want to go with a 60/40 bench seat. I have seen one before in another pickup but not sure what year or model the 60/40 came from. Does anyone know what year and model would fit in my truck?
