Kit car and Camaro chassis

I have a '94 Camaro with totaling body damage. Chassis and all drive train are in fine shape. Can I use this as the base for a Kit Car project. Will any of the fiberglass hotrod bodies adapt to the Camaro chassis and drive train? Here's hoping for some good news in this matter.
Thanks...Marlintx

Welcome to the site marlintx. :welcome: Sorry, you will only be able to use your totaled Camaro as a donor car for a project as it does not have a conventional frame. You can use the engine, transmission and rear end as well as parts of the front suspension. What type/style of body are you looking at building? Give us more details of what you are going for.

Kit Car and Camaro chassis

Home Brew, thanks for the welcome and response. I have always been drawn to the '37 Ford, cabriolet preferred. My objective is a driver. I want a hotrod to enjoy beyond the show car scene. The options, clearly, are to find one built or to dive in and build myself. Still researching in order to make that choice. Appreciate the thoughts of those of you who have already been through the process.
Thanks...Marlintx

marlintx - If you like the 37 cabriolet there are several body manufaturers of them. Post a question in the Body forum asking about the quality of the bodies of these makers. From what I understand several need a lot of body work to have their panels line up. How much experience have you with fabrication? Several manufacturers make chassis in various stages for these bodies as well. Buying a chassis and body and by using your drivetrain you will have a good start on the process.

Not that you lack ambition...

But do you lack skill??...Look for someone who builds rollers..you install the drive train...paint it and do the interior work or have it done. I personally know a guy who builds nothing but Cobra kit cars for people...you buy the donor/5ltr Mustang and he assembles the car and you drive it home. There is a shop locally that sells a GREAT 40 something Willies roller for 17K out the door, looks exactly like the old gassers..you install the drive train and interior or they can install it for you $$how much cash you got$$ ..its already in flat black paint...a carbon fiber kit.
