My new 1 1/8 " sway bar arrived and i am very suspicious that it is a bit too wide for my ride. I have a 68 and am doing up a new subframe with disc brake conversion. I installed the new sway bar and it is about impossible to put the end links in as they have to lean outboard at the top. The suspension is not loaded at this point, meaning the subframe is on horses with the spindles suspended in air. It appears that under heavy supsension compression, the steering arm could actuall interfere with the end knuckle of the swaybar. Does anyone have a sway bar around that they could measure the center on centers for me? The company i bought it from will do the same, as soon as they get another one in. That could take forever. I need to order one and get it installed prior to installling the front subframe to tub, makes things alot easier and would appreciate it.
