ffcagle34 - I'm in B'field too! Take your mono-springs out to Springs-A-Specialty on Colombo street off 7th Standard near Hwy. 99 and have them rearched to the lift you want. They do all my spring work and can get all kinds of hard to find suspension and brake parts too.

|72novaproject||I am building a 1972 Nova that had a single leaf spring. I worked for a Chevy dealer for almost 20 years and new cars would come in with ride height problems. You will find that there are local spring (this is how dealership warranty repairs are done)shops in almost every town that can help you get the car exactly where you want it. Jeg's and places like that are going to have a limited amount of info about your car. Spring shops have the blueprints for every car made and can order new springs or re-arch yours to your specs. Since thay are local they are more helpful as well. Most spring shops deal mostly with heavy duty trucks so dont be intimidated by what you see laying around there shop. Look in the phone book for "Spring & Axel" places.|

You can buy aftermarket recurved springs to get whatever ride hieght you want. On my brothers single spring nova, he went to a three spring pack and added 1.5 inches in ride height. I cant remember the manufacturor, but I think he ordered through Summit.

Before I state my question let me say thanks to all who participate in this message board. You guys are awesome!
I just bought a 68 Camaro and the rear springs are a single leaf spring with an adjustable bracket. I do not like the rear bracket hanging down past the bumper nor am I interested in adjusting the height of the rear suspension. so the question is.....Can I replace this adjustable system with a fixed leaf spring and keep the same height. and should I use a single or multiple leaf spring. Thanks guys.
