rlvirago I was just wondering about the powder coating because someone told me it would keep the engine hotter and wouldn't let it cool properly. Joe, have you had any problems with this? Thanks.

joe k I had my block and heads powder coated four years ago and it still looks great. Before I sent it out, I ground everything smooth, makes for a very nice job.

xntrik I often wondered about powder coating the inside of the valley instead of Gyptal.....

Outside most are using etching primer and HT paint, or even DP90 and single urethane.

I was wondering if anyone ever powder coated the block and heads of their engine. Would this be ok to do or not a good idea? Thanks.
