07-19-2006 08:35 PM I drive a '36 (same as a '33 except for the hood). Wasn't your project featured in Gasser magazine a few years ago? There was a feature article in there describing exactly your project. Anyway, you MUST start a journal here and show us what you did and are doing.

Aussie 33 Willys Coupe 5 Window

Hi folks just a short note to let you know that at the moment i am building an all steel 33 willys coupe made up from a sedan. i wheeled up a coupe bum and moved the sedan roof forward. By cutting off the rear door tops and welding in the lower half i have fas honed out a rough looking coupe.
Just to give it the Aussie touch i have left the body with no cowl vent and with the suicide doors the sedan came out with. Now its time to play with the mechanicals. i am at present looking to cut down a Ford diff to fit the narrow Willys rear end.I have lots of pics but right now am to lazy to post on the site.
