My son has a short bed S-10 regular cap 4 cyl pickup that we plan on fixing up for when he's ready to drive in about a year and a half. Course he wants to bag it and drag it and paint it, etc. I'm game, that not the problem. The body is shot though. But these Willys P/U kits have caught my eye. Some the panels actually fit over the S-10 sheetmetal and they don't really excite me. But Active Power has a body that bolts on the stock frame. Anyone had any experiance with them?

my dad's thinking about doing 1 of those Active power kits. I talked to sombody who deals almost entirely with '41 Willy's bodies and he said there less than great, but for a daily driver, you could have a real head turner for less than a new Chevy Colorado, much less actully. all '41 willy's bodies will fit s10 frames, only diffrence is the trunk pan is clearenced accordingly and the body mounts match that of the S10's mounting locations, you could make a good body fit ( like an Outlaw ) if you wanted
