Henry Highrise A friend of mine made one to test Chevy engines on.......He used the front part of a Chevy pick-up frame and welded some legs on it. He mounted a control panel on it with ignition switch and guages etc. He used the wireing harness off the old truck to wire it up. I guess a guy could put some wheels on it and he could roll it around the shop.

engine test stand

Im about to build an engine stand that will allow me to run an engine on it. The main reason for this is the engine will be going in a boat and I really dont want to take the engine out again if it has space is very limited if work needs to be done. I have an idea in my head but would love to see pics of other stands because im sure there are better set ups then what I have in mind.....anyone got pics to share??
