al/54 Thank you for the reply, I think you are right.Ive dropped the front susp. am also taking the motor out, then i will take out the steering.Thank you again..Al :p

Will's41 If I remember correctly the steering shaft is one piece from the steering wheel bolt to the pinon gear in the steering box.

steering column

Hi there, iam new to this site and have a question,trying to pull the steering column from the steering box,it doesnt want to come apart,have taken out all the bolts that i can see ,this is on a 53ford customline.these pieces are still on the car which i am tearing down for parts for my 54ford customline,Idid some looking here but dont seem to find anything. Any help would be appreciated,thank you. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
