Here's the situation. I stripped my car to bare metal several weeks ago (couple months). I used chemical stripper, there is very little flash rust on the car and I plan to sand the whole car again before laying down the epoxy primer. My question is what should I use to wipe the car down before I start sanding? I want to make sure I get rid of all the chemical stripper residue. In the past I would have just used laquer thinner but, since I am using epoxy primer and the surface prep is so critical, I don't want to take any chances. I'll be heading to the paint store in a little while and would like to have a little info. Of course I will use wax and grease remover but, is there something else I should use first?
If it matters the primer I bought is SPI.
