|TJ'S30||The rear is a 9" Ford posi. I don't know the ratio but the drive shaft turns 3 times for every one of the wheel. The tires are 15" 60's. Thanks for your response|

perhaps a 1.82 low first gear powerglide tranny is in there.......... little difference though.
we would need more information on the car & engine & rear gear & tire size & etc ...... to make a judgment call on the 2400 stall converter you mention

The Powerglide and the Turbo 350 both have a 1 to 1 final drive so your RPMS in high gear will remain the same ...
The Powerglide is a 1.76 low gear and the Turbo 350 is 2.52 so the car should leave a good bit bit quicker ... and be more enjoyable on the street ...

I'm presently running a power glide trans behind a 400 small block. I'm not sure what the rear end is but it's turning around 2800 rpm at 55mph. I'm thinking of going to a b&m th-350 with the 2400 hole shot converter. Any suggestions or info on this setup?
