51 styline I am running a G M pump with my Mustang 2 P S rack. I found an article in an older rod magasine telling how to adjust the pressures down to be compatable. I can,t remember which mag it was but it gave shim sizes and how much each would reduce pressure. I think it was Hot Rod magasine . I followed their procedure and my steering is fine on the road. I have good road feel and no PS leaks. I,ll try and find the book and post the article as soon as i can shake this lousy cold i,ve got.

Which rack do you have, if it is off one of the T-Birds, you can use a gm pump without the valve. They are the same rack speedway sells. being able to adjust them like centerline said would be nice though.

willys36@aol.com Just about any pump will work with any gear. The GM pump is way overkill (even for GM gears!) but with the pressure regulators like Centerline shows it will work great. I like to get the tiny pumps off foreign cars for obvious reasons. Very compact, can have remote or attached reservoirs and come already pressure regulated.

Centerline By far the easiest way to go is the GM pump with an adjustable pressure valve from Heidts.

This will allow you to pretty much "dial in" the feel and sensitivity you want.
