DaSouthWon exactly what I was looking for, Thanks. I wish I knew if my heads castings were similar. I'm afraid of removing to much off of the short side radius but it appears to be pretty thick.

wierd head porting question.

does anyone know where I might be able to find photos of chevy head cross-sections? I mean a head actually cut in half to see where it is safe to remove material for porting. I know it is a wierd question but this would be very helpful. I'm referring mainly to 781 and 049 castings. Hope someone can help
