Poor ring seal, cracked rings, piston slap, and broken piston skirts can result in worst cases. I know you hear about magazine articles that just bottle brush the bores and put new pistons in, but they are only concerned with three dyno pulls. If you're serious about this engine, do it right.

|JAKE 68 GMC||How much is it overbored now? If it's bored .030 over now, and you bore it another .030, that would be .060 over. Combine that with a 383 stroker kit and I believe it would be a 388 stroker.|

what size engine CID and liter would my 350 be with the 383 stroker kit and .030 overbore
