hp figure from 1/8 mile et and mph figures

just ran the s10 today and i am trying to find a calculator for figuring hp from 1/8 mile et and mph
the truck weighs around 2900#
my time slip
.731 reaction time
60' 2.39
mph 96.7
et 8.82
truck has 4.10 gears and a gov-loc

If that is your 1/8 mph, it up there pretty good. As your 60ft time says, you must have looked like John Force out there spinning the tires :D

Your making alot more hp than your et indicates, traction is killing you.

thanx for that link, you're right about traction issues it did'nt hook up till about halfway thru 2nd gear. these street tires have got to go. the motor is a 406 sbc with afr 190R heads, roller cam, pro magnum rockers, holley street dominator intake with a holley 750 vac.sec carb. all going out thru hedman
long tube 1 3/4 headers.
i dont know the cam specs or compression. bought the engine from a local machine shop. said they have had it for a while. owner couldnt pay for it, all forged components, head studs. i think it has flatop pistons, but i cant find any specs on the heads. a few racers have told me this truck should run in to the 7's with traction.
