DoubleVision Far as I know, speed pro took over the TRW line, and when they did they made some changes. We had a issue years back when one of the TRW forged pistons we were using had broken off a skirt, clean up to the lower ring land for no apparent reason, so we thought no problem, we`ll just get a replacement, we went and looked at the pistons that pulled up under the same part number and the design had been changed, the skirt was shorter and the weight was different, even so the head was the same. We knew this would knock the balance off, so the only way to fix it was, buy a new set of pistons. Believe me, your not the only one who`s run into this same issue.

Trying to locate TRW forged piston w/rings Part # L-1359KF .020" (.50mm) oversize - Part # is obsolete & TRW site is no real help on this one so far - Trying to complete a set - Need a quantity of two (2).

Any ideas or suggestions would be welcome.
