Hi All, This my first post... so be gentle. I am replacing the TH350 in my '69 Camaro with a 700R4. My question is regarding the 1-2 and 3-4 accumulator springs, I took them out and didn't mark which went where, there are two different size springs, a heavy black one and a lighter green one. Can someone help me out with which goes with the 1-2 piston and which with the 3-4. Thanx in advance... Hugger
Crosley will chime in here in a bit and can answer the question, but in the interim, why not just order a shift kit from Transgo, it will come with new springs, TV improvement parts and good diagrams. The kit is the SK700jr and it runs about $30 and will improve the 700R4 performance considerably.

the lighter duty spring is used on the 3-4 accumulator piston (in the main case)
