Thanks for the reply, there are many vortec heads on the market. Is there a specific vehicle that I can get these heads out of or do I have to buy after market or reproduction heads?

Have a 350 block,early 70 .bored 30 over with flat top pistons,stock crank and rods.the cam is 262h extreme energy comp with 462-469 lift.with a tight budget at hand I need info. on what heads to use. The engine will go in a 77 vett with no smog ,street performer.
