thanks for the response.i was just hoping to be able to use that as a reference point when talking to the folks at strange or wherever i wind up going,because when you tell people cadillac they often times look at you a little weird

american muscle rulz about the best way to tell is to get measurments off your caddy then measure

maybe someone can let me know if the rearend mounting is the same on an 81 coupe deville as an impala or like car of the same era. am looking to upgrade to a 12 bolt posi as the engine will be far from stock.would also like to find info on converting to 4 wheel discs.thanks
