ZipZ28 You guys have some nice trucks

Here's my '47 Dodge. I originally posted about it in this thread. I finally painted it, after much coaxing by my wife for it to be the test bed for my painting learning curve instead of her car It's a good thing I did, I learned alot on this Anyway here's how it looked a few days ago, it's back in my "paintbooth" right now for a re-shoot

DOUBLEDICK This is my hotrod truck. It is a 58 Chevy Apache pick up with a high compression balanced and blueprinted 427 with a 700R4 transmission and 4.56 gears and a power trax locker in the Gm 10 bolt rearend. So far my best time on the drag strip is 15.21.It just would not hook up with the 31x10.5 wrangler truck tires.I just wanted to see what it would do with my every day tires. Here is a burn out video from the Fathers day car show in Wendover the day before I ran it down the strip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycotCsf1k-c

Sure you would! You could lay the coffin in the middle of the space!

LOL!!! Yeah, it's pretty ******! The space is pretty amazing! Rodger just bought $250,000 worth of metal fab and other assorted tools!

Did you see the '49 Caddy they're working on? That thing is going to be sick!! I think it was featured in this months Popular HotRodding in the "Under Construction" area!

They're also working with GM on a project! They're building a '67 Chevelle with the new LSx block and they're going to put the new Kinsler cross ram intake where you can adjust the torque of your engine by swapping out the stacks on the intake!

Novanutcase Not my truck but my friend Rodger Lee's truck. He owns a Hot Rod shop up in Bakersfield called Ironworks Speed & Kustom! All Corvette C-5 suspension, torque tube and 6 speed transaxle! Engine is a Hillborn injected LS-2 that dynoed at 676 HP/623 TQ!

66GMC My 66 GMC
454 / TH400

Haven't really done a darned thing to the "old gray mare" since early spring ... trying to get my (new) 34 x 24 garage built.

I rented a skid-steer loader and "broke ground" myself just this weekend. My contractor wanted $2,000 to "remove the gardens" ... so I thought I would rent the loader and trailer at $300 / day and do it myself.

I'll take some pics of the garage progress and add them to my journal.

Date-Stamps are wrong, BTW
I have installed the rad support, rad, etc ... and have had the engine running (open headers ... of course ) during break-in and another couple of times ... just for fun.

68 El Camino, a 402 BB, muncie 4 speed and 12 bolt (I built it 15 years ago and use it for my shop truck....needs total cosmetic restoration).

My current project: 1 of 70 1976 440 powered 2WD stepsides built and the only one know to have the True Spirit stripes. It's being built as my new shop truck and a replacement for the El Camino.
