I am gonna do my first overhaul(rebuild) and was wondering what some of the better ones are.
It isn't apart yet so i don't know if i need a gasket set or more so what are your opinions.
I don't plan on going real high performance but maybe what i can afford.

By the way it is a 350 out of a 69 C-10, going into a 67 c-10

There are thousands of outfits selling engine kits, you just have to do your homework and decide which one suits your budget and what you really need to do. Tear the engine down and have the cyl. wall taper checked, that will tell you if it needs to be bored. If not and you're not doing a hi perf. job then rings, bearings and gaskets at the minimum. I use Speed Pro rings, Clevite bearings and Felpro gaskets. Everyone has their own recipe and favorite parts to use.....
