OK I have a problem though it's a good problem I guess. I'm working on a 68 Camaro that is currently driveable and not bad looking (from 10 feet ) but it does need paint. My current work space is a one car garage with everything I need except the space to actually work on the car. I have already started on a new motor and have alot of new parts that will be installed.
My question is do I build a new 28' x 44' garage and finish the motor and such in a year or two or do I finish the car this winter and struggle with the lack of space?
Yep , finish the garage first.... wouldn't want to make that ride all shiny and have no where to put it :nono: :nono:
BTW - not a bad predicament to be in :mwink:
Garage all the way. I have seen too many times something stops you in the middle of a project then it stays outside and by the time you get back to it you have to re do everything you did.
I was kind of thinking this too but like it was said before shiney car then you dont have the big garage to park it in .....Glad I dont have to make the decision.... this thread had this song runnin through my head linky

Build the thing and heat at least a section of it. Then when it's cold you don't have to be sitting inside watching crap on TV. You can be in your nice garage wrenching.
Garage first - drive the car and have fun while the garage is built - finish the car when you have space, at least then you can work at your leisure while saving more money to finish the car.
Hi,i have a 26 X 44 garage,i say BUILD IT BIGGER,,rather have a big garage than a small one,cars always seem to multiply,i built mine when i had 1 car,now have 7,only 3 hotrods... get the garage,the newer cars live outside.
Thanks for the advice guys. Already looking a how much it's going to cost and building permits. I will post pics in the spring when it's done.
