PatM Try Paramount Distributor Company. This guy restores distributor machines and manufactures his own Pulse Amplifiers, which is what you need to test an HEI. (616) 878-9734

MARTINSR I just called my brother and asked him, he has two of those machines. He said he doesn't know of any sources for parts other than used. But as far as the conversion to electronic, there was a guy across the bay from us in San Bruno who was making a kit. He lost the info so that is all I have. Maybe do some google searches?

Back from the dead?

I just aquired this old Sun distributor machine and have been searchin' the net for parts and smarts to bring it back to life. I want to use it on GM HEI's and the odd flathead stuff. I know that as late as the mid 80's, a kit was availible to upgrade this machine to do the newer electronic dist's, but cant seem to find a parts source, books or manuals to help with the rehab. I'm pretty sure the broad knowledge base on this board can help. sic 'em Thanks Paul
