I love that movie... best chase scene EVER! I do have a question about the car. Now it has been a LONG time since I have seen it, but I think it is just after Steve almost gets in a tangle with that motor cycle and spins all around in that dirt, and his front end goes over that litle ditch or cliff thing or wahetever it was, I thought I remember seeing his front suspension break. I think you can clearly see the wheel flop outward too. So Then he takes off from there and drives like a madman with no problems, so wouldn't that mean there is more than one car?
Like I said, it has been a long time since i have seen it, so I may just be having a bad flashback. <img src="graemlins/drunk.gif" border="0" alt="[drunk]" /> <img src="graemlins/sweat.gif" border="0" alt="[sweat]" /> <img src="graemlins/drunk.gif" border="0" alt="[drunk]" />

I was reading in one of the rodding magazines awhile back that the editor knows where Steve McQueens Pony car is. The owner will not allow it to be photographed and has not fixed it up but is sitting in a barn. He did state that he has no intentions of parting with it and wants to keep it just as it was in the movie. Here is a very interesting link about the producing of the movie. http://people.freenet.de/pony/motortr.htm

|mustang66maniac||he crashed the mustang in the movie. I think we all know that a 440 can outrun a 390, but nontheless.....a cool chase scene.|

It Takes A MoPar....
To catch a MoPar.
What was Steve McQueen thinking? Like he could catch that Charger in his lil ol fastback Mustang. Sheesh!
Sorry, just watching the chase scene from Bullitt.
