I am going to try that. Easy fix, but thought someone could have a trick.

powerrodsmike I don't know about your welding supplier, I have ordered numerous small parts for my old Mig guns as well as plasma torches from mine..

Or as Centerline said, go direct to the mfg.

Centerline I believe you can order one direct from Miller. Since I don't know exactly which gun you have for the 625 you'll have to look HERE. Just pick the Spectrum 625 from the list and then pic the gun you have from the two that were available to see all the parts and their part numbers.

Hand held plasma issue!

Hello all,

I have three plasmas cnc, thin manual, and thick manual. Th ethin manual unit Miller spectrum 625, with an ice 40 toarch, (also the same on most hobart units in the 625 range. The question is, I had it apart changing consumables, and such. The darn prosthetic I wear caught the line to the torch. The brass that threads to the isolator smacked the concrete and I cant fathom buying a new 300+ torch for this fitting. It is a pretty intricate part so I don't think I can machine. Do you guys A) know were to by just this part (the weld suppliers want to sell new guns), or would you know how it should be fixed? It is out of round, and the threads are slightly screwed. pardon the pun??
