That's one of the best reasons why a person needs to get on forums for his hobbies, then spend some time getting to know folks and them to know you.
Let us know how you make out with this project.

That's everything I needed.
Amazing what you can find when you google the right words, I think I searched about everything except "diagram" and then came here and asked for just that. Anyway I am finding I have more missing than I thought but now believe I can work it all out.

And this is my Google search phrase:
'87 mustang gt vacuum diagram

|oldred||What I have is an 87 Mustang LX with 5.0 that someone in the past has "de-smogged" meaning they removed just about everything they could and still get it to run. I am trying to get the EGR valve (new) to work and the computer to quite throwing codes for the EGR and purge. the solenoids are missing as is the vacuum lines but fortunately the electrical connectors are still intact however there is another plug next to the solenoid connectors that I can't identify, whatever it plugs into is missing also. It is a flat Grey connector with two wires, a green one and a red one.|

If you can find the 1988 Motors Tune Up and Electronic manual somewhere, you should be able to get that information. My '86 version has the '85 info - seems to run a year behind on vacuum diagrams. There are many different variations and you need to know yours to get the right one. I can copy the '85 pages and forward, but I am all to well aware that they went to multipoint fuel injection in '86 -(the reason I have this manual was for my '86 GT) and made lots of underhood changes. Don't you have a 'friendly' local Ford dealer nearby??

|oldred||Mauss, that's the info I was looking for and just as I thought I have something missing. The underhood sticker is long gone and someone had removed the vacuum lines so it is going to be a PITA trying to find the parts I need and getting those lines back like they should be, that diagram helps a lot- thanks I did not know they had that.|

Go to the Autozone web site and look up your car in the Repair Guide section... they have a lot of common stuff in there.

When i was in calif. the public Library had the vacuum and emmision books for reference only. the diagrams were small. I would use the copier to blow them up.

Anyone know where I can find an online vacuum diagram for an 87 Mustang GT? Any place else to look? I went out today and checked in the Haynes manuals and they have decent wiring prints but nothing on the vacuum routing. I am particularly interested in re-plumbing the vacuum lines on the EGR control solenoids.
