Crosley good news to hear / read.

123pugsy Got it! It was the boost valve not inserted correctly or jammed up. I guess I was too frustrated and tried to rush it.

Shifts really good now and huge improvement over the TH350.

Thanks,
Pugsy

boost valve must remain in position in the pump for pressure. Sitting in the pan is not good,

not up shift? TV cable adjusted? Minimum adjustment is important too IF the fail safe check ball is installed.

Worn TV bore can cause "false fail safe" condition to.

Governor is stuck = no shifts.

Governor gear broken = no shifts

Thanks for the great advice Crosley. With this I deduced that the TV Boost valve was installed backwards. I opened her up and sure enough it was. I shoved it back together and the whole pressure regulator valve got blown out into the pan. Opened her up again and stretched out the circlip and reinstalled it,put it in reverse and pressure went up and dropped to zero. I think it blew out again but I've had enough for today. I will open it up again in the morning.
