powerjection

I too was concerned about a chineese fuel injection but I found out they are made in the usa, the new powerjection 3 looks like a nice setup and the price is nice too. I have been doing a lot of research on the new gen "TBI's" and they have major advantages over old school tbi's. High pressure fuel pump and injectors like MPI thus more finely atomized fuel, wide band 02 sensor and self tuning, I have been following the powerjection and the ez-efi from fast and seems every dyno test shows a 2-30 hp and usually 30 ft lbs over a finely tuned carb, ez starting, better economy. Ususally mpi makes less hp but better drivabilty than a carb but the new tbi's are showing more hp and drivabilty.

The powerjection 3 has the computer and everything built right on to the throttlebody so wiring is minimal and theres even a video where it was installed and running in 1 hr and it looks like a demon carb, the fast ez-efi is similar and has its own tuning module but is more expensive and cant be used with forced induction but fast has a reputation, Butler performance loves the system....

I am going to buy one of these systems, I'm leaning towards the powerjection as it is disguised as a carb. I am seeing the new TBI's are basically like having a perfectly tuned carb that tunes itself under all conditions and actually tunes to your driving style without ever having to change jets, powervalves, float levels, idle mixture etc..seems like the hot setup between a carb and MPI.

xxllmm4 Never herd of anyone using it. Must be new? I think I would RUN form a Chinese fuel injection system. Especially at the price of $2000 up.

A lot of money for what's a TBI system. You can get a Holley 670 system for a lot less money, it doesn't look like a Holley carb, however.

So I guess if you've got the bucks and the need for injection that looks like a carburetor then you have your answer.

How much more power than what? And no, injection systems are not self tuning, the O2 sensor gives it a little capability but it really isn't there for self tuning, it's function is to trim a very close to correct mixture to correct.
