8 psi is too much for a carb. Dial it back to 6 to prevent over-powering the needle and seat.
You think stroker motors are a pain? When you get to my age, you'll realize that life itself is a pain. Everything is stacked against you and the best you can do is to persevere and fix things as they come along in order to make life tolerable. If something does fall into place, it is only by the grace of God and the fact that your stars are lined up at that particular moment.

blown fuel pressure regulator?
more engine problems. figured the glowin hot headers out.. (to retarded timing /@ idle!) sweet. drivin the thing the other day (383 stroker) and started running kind crappy @ idle, some black smoke and now seems like th floats are too high. my fuel pressure guage on my holley reads 8 psi now, and i just put in a new aeromotive fuel regulator. you adjust it, and the pressure stays the same... like the regulator blew. its only a week old. something that can cause this? i got a new guage comin to verify that its not just a guage (cheap summit one) i think stroker motors are a pain@!
