May have to go with a set of Cometics or a 1044 which is .051 thick and the Felpro 1036 is for a 4.250 and is a thick gasket I believe.

Do they make those gaskets in a .o6o thickness?

barnym17 You need to use the correct gaskets to prevent brinneling the head.Fel-Pro 1034 comes to mind someone correct me if my memory is wrong.

Head Gaskets

I have recently purchased my first set of aluminum heads for my street car, I will be running about 11.5:1 compression. I was told I had to run a special set of gaskets. Do I really have to have a special set or can I get buy with regular head gaskets like the some rubber over metal or somthing.
