Post Nice sounding exaust

I have a 90 ranger i am just driving to and from school and work. I thought it would be cool to get a good sounding exaust on it. It has a V6 2.9L. What do i have to do or what type of muffler do you recomend so it sound nice. Do i have to remove the Catalytic converter. I live in minnesota so the law on that is pretty relaxed.

punch out the cats and get a flowmaster with single inlet, dual outlet and if it were me, i would dump it. the reverberation between the pavement and the bed of a truck is SWEET. that would sound mean.

by the way, 30 series or orig. 40 series would be the flowmaster to go with.

I got a 2"X30" custom Aluminized chambered muffler on my 97 Ranger from Sweet-Thunder.com. It really sounds great, and the price was perfect for me! I gotta endorse the company- I am pleased with my results!!!
