nitrous problem

I have a 100 shot nitrous at about 5,600-5,800 it seams to go down in power I think I am just out of the power band. It does not ping or anything. The cam is 2,600-6,100 so I think this might be normal. What do you think?

Is this going thru a gear change or holding in the same gear?

Nitrous, low gears and small tire height makes for quick revibility so the amount of time in gear isn`t long before it runs out of cam. So I`d say yes you`ve figured it out on your own, if your in high gear close to the finish line and if you have a memorey tach or can sneak a look at the tach to see where the rpm is it should tell you all you need to know. If it`s running out of cam no amount of nitrous will keep the powerband going. We learned this same thing in our early years of dragging.
