inline Nitrous filter plugged. Clean it. Excessive nitrous bottle pressure. The nitrous solenoid will not open if the bottle pressure exceeds 1000-1100 PSI.

Nitrous pressure 850psi bottle temp 85°F max. (Cool the bottle if nesessary)
Nitrous fuel pressure 5.5 to 6psi steady flowing.
Spark plug gap max .035" Use high octane gas.
Old spark plugs/carboned up combustion chambers (city driving) will imediately foul.

Is the bottle empty or over filled?. weigh the bottle.

Stock tbi heads? big mistake. These heads shut off at 4000 RPM due to the swirl vane in the valve bowl. nitrous or not, if it can`t get in the cylinder it doesn`t do any good.

It will rev to 5500, just as my 4.3 V6 with TBI and swirl heads will, but the power stops at 4000. Flow is power, and swirl port heads are the worst flowing heads in SBC history.
