Nitrous Question

He guys, I have a carb setup on a 98 camaro and barley have room to close the hood. I am wanting to install nitrous and am wondering if I could install a couple of foger nozzles in the carb hat. Would it be ok to spray nitrous and fuel above the carb?

Thats a lot of pressure coming out. The plates are angled to shoot towards the runners and nozzles are shaped to spray down into the runners. I would think you would not have good control just spraying on top and could lead to tunning issues and could spray gas outward which would also be a hazard. Put the nozzles in the intake if you dont have room for a plate (1/2").

I appreciate the reply, but I have to run a carb hat with a filter similar to a late model efi setup. I am very constrained for space.

I have used dry kits in front of the throttle plates and it worked with a micro switch . If you have not been told adding fuel in front of the throttle plates is not the best strategy. Could be dangerous.

A nitrous spray bar can be custom installed right in the intake manifold plenum.
If you want to use Fogger nozzles, then install on the intake manifold runners.
Just go buy the Sportsman direct port system or the Fogger system.
