no compression!

just dug out a 454 that i camed years ago and was going to put it in my one ton, but it has no compression! no clue what's up. it ran good when i pulled it!

Valves hung up. Pull valve covers and take a look

did you take any compression readings? were they all the same? Not sure if you checked but take the cap off and have someone crank it. If the the rotor dont spin then the chain could have broke.

ITS ON A STAND! THE CAM AND CHAIN ARE NEW!!! WELL THEY ARE 15 OR SO YEARS OLD BUT NEVER FIRED!!!!!

good point about the rings. Pour some marvel mystery oil into the cylinders being its stripped and let it soak.
