No Spark - Duraspark
I have a '65 Mustang with a 351W and a Duraspark/MSD ignition setup. In a previous post I said I thought I may have a charging problem, and it turns out I did. I took the alternator out and found that one of the brushes was broken. Easy fix. However, the car will not start. It died on me after a 900 mile road trip and has not started since. I bought a new Duraspark stator, and that did not work. I switched coils, that did not work. I switched ignition boxes (MSD 6A -> MSD Blaster that worked before), and that did not work. I changed components in every conceivable way to try to isolate the problem, but to no avail. I have run the Duraspark system with MSD components for years without a problem. I even isolated the tach thinking that may be an issue. I am totally stumped on this. I thought I knew everything about this old Mustang, but I guess not. HELP!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!
