No Spark Thunderbolt IV Igintion need help

Dear all,

I have a Chevy G20 Van engine which I converted to a marine engine.
I had to add a Holley elctrical fuel pump and added all marine specific parts.

I have oil pressure measured with a gauge.

No I have a problem I have no spark.
The Ignition System was working fine before. I assume another error.

I have 12V on the positive coil terminal (+) which I bought brand new.

How do I test this unit?

Here some pictures

I have a white green & a white red cable comming out of the hall cell from the distributor. How to test the correct switching the hall to ground?

I painted the block and have a gasket between the block. Do I have a gound problem of the housing of the dizzy?

BR
Bob

That would be where I would start. You can remove the holdown and clean the paint off of the spot where it touches the dizzy and the bolt and clean out the bolt hole. That should suffice.

Thank you. I will try this.

It that does not help what comes next?

Is the black box an amplifier. How can I test the hall & the amplifier?

Look in todays posts. I revived a thread for another guy here. Docvette wrote one article. Hard to beat that.
