Normal oil pressure and oil temp?
When I idle, my oil pressure is normally at 40ish and when I start driving it chills around 60ish. I have a high volume oil pump, but I'm not sure if it's high pressure too. Is this bad? Also, what's a safe engine oil temp for a n/a application (408ci sbc)? I'm also running 20w50 vr1 oil

Nothing wrong with that. Personally I think people make too big a deal out of oil pressure.

Sounds like a basic high volume pump. 220 to 230 is a typical range for oil temps, around 40+ higher than water temps.

^ agreed. 230 is healthy for regular oil. A good "real" synthetic like Mobil 1, Amsoil, or Royal Purple can take 260 for a while. I tested some Amsoil after a few hill climbs at 280 in the pan and it was fine, but I don't recommend it.
