the small 60 degree v-6 bell housing on the 700 will fit........ there is one bolt hole that must be relocated.

You cut the ear off the trans case and relocate using the engine block.

It is best to TIG weld the tranny case , I do not suggest using the MIG aluminum welders

Do a search for Northstar performance,
I thought I had the bookmark but don't.

There's a guy that is pretty much at the
front of the Northstar modification pack
incl hop up parts and info and I'm sure
you could at least learn something.

From what I remember reading, larger
exhaust helps (mostly just a larger
single with hi flow cats and mufflers is
what they do on the Seville's etc) and
I'm sure a higher perf chip for the computer
would give you some boost, although
that's probly $300 or so, though no doubt
cheaper than actually getting into the
motor to change cams or whatever.

Freeing up the intake tract helps too.

Esp on the 300hp versions, I seem to
remember somewhat stiffer valve springs
allow a little higher rpm range and that
isn't overly difficult or costly either.
