I cant draw stick people. Never had the 3D vision I guess. They look real cool, but I dont see a Blown and tubbed Gremlin? Uh huh, sounds like a good next project!!! HG

Here are a couple that I drew a few years ago.
This is one that I drew for Kevin45 a couple of years ago. This is one that I designed for our local car club. Later, WEIMER |

I am a so-so artist, I trace about half the outline of the car and then freehand from there. Maybe i will post a pic of my drawings!
Work on straight lines without sketching the lines too thick. I noticed on drawing 4 that your lines were really thick and crooked. Heres a couple things i focus on when drawing cars. 1. Detail after you are happy with the car stock. Which mean draw what you need to to see the car and like it, then work on the details like flames and blowers and radiator lines and even wheels. 2. Keep the lines light and go over them in darker ink after you are done with the drawing. And finally when you get really good. 3. Try to modify the car in your own taste. Chop the car, french the headlights, lower it, or make it radical. I have done plenty of bad modifications because I drew them on after the drawing was complete in different shades of pencil. Keep drawing, you could be good someday and keep drawing comics to keep your mind open. HRK(Alex) |
