West side of the street close to Ventura Blvd. Across the street from one of Moon Mullins used car lots. The Bear and I bought a transmission from Moon at that lot. It was in a 55 Ford. Paid twenty bucks for it. The car was on the front line on Seplveda. We jacked it up, took the trans out along with a couple of extra items. Steering column, peddle assy, drive shaft, bell housing, and God knows what else!. I remember we left the seats. I can't remember the name of the restaurant though although I think it became a turn around parking for cruising Sepulveda Blvd. Or was that Van Nuys ?
