Post nothin but trouble

well ***** i have another problem cure one get another i had touble with my starter grinding thought i figured it out but today the starter started its ***** again i pull the starter down and got to lookin around and there was a crack in the middle of the bolt hole where the starter mounts to the block i stuck a screw driver in the hole to see if it was cracked and i get a piece break off about 1/8 inch so i guess thats why the starter would never work right cause the starter would move on startup what can i do to fix this oh the crack was on the block its self any ideas

its on the outside pad on the block where the starter mounts to
