So far they haven't said anything about the 54 that's garaged. It's the 88 Ramcharger that's in the open and in the process of being dissmantled to be readied to receive the 54 body that is the issue.

Well I have to move my Fiero or put a tag on it. Got a letter today, I pulled the tag and insurance and put it on my Vette.
They didn't like where I parked it I guess. I planned on selling it next month, guess I will have to put a tag on it, sell it or hide it.

Save the Iron! Fight gov't sponsored car crush program.

*edited stuff in wrong area!*

I'd have a chat with the neighbors and see if you can work something out (fence, cover, etc).

Chances are they'll want to save their reputation and not be known as some jack*** so they might be a little more generous if confronted (in a nonoffensive way)

Ah Christmas Day I decide to replace the power wire to my Puny 300Watt amp .

Can you see where this is going?

I get it done 2nd cut of Pink Floyd's dark side of the moon & I have 2 visitors in the front yard.

They have badges.

After apologizing for MR or Ms "anonymous" phone call, wasting their time .I spent a few moments explaining how the Noise Codes read for this county.

While letting Pink Floyd play...

I asked the officers to relay the codes to Mr or Ms "A" & for them to have a great day .

OK B Bye now.

It would be nice if you could face your accuser. But here they are not allowed to tell you who placed the call. I have got the over the shoulder look for the last call but it didn't help.
It was probably the guy trying to sell the houses down the street. Got caught with their pants down flipping houses so now they are pissed at everyone.

Funny there is an abandoned car outside of a deputies house just down the street, it will be interesting to see if its still there in February.

I feel for you guys, I lucked out, about 15 years ago I purchased 2.5 acres three miles outside of town. Built a house, Huge shop and planted fruit trees. Did I mention the huge shop of course. At that time I did not have any neighbors, I was able to get it zoned as agricultural. Over about the last 13 years developers all around bought up the property and built very nice homes. They have covenants and wanted me to join the neighborhood association. I refused and explained that those did not apply to my "Farm" due to it's agricultural status. I lease the fruit trees and use my shop for nothing but hobbies. I can leave frames or hulks next my neighbors property and they have no legal recourse. I try not to infringe too much just because I want to be a good neighbor, but if push comes to shove, I might start raising roosters, Ha! Since my property is zoned agricultural, Noise ordidnance does not apply, I can operate machinery with no recourse by the neighbors, this includes tractors, four wheelers, snowmobiles and on occasion, blown small block chevys.

You forgot to add Rooster's Crowing in the early morning!

Reminds me of my childhood days.

check the rules

Sometimes you can find a loophole or where to get a waiver- years ago I
bought a building lot that had a 10 year old foundation on it. The foundation
was in perfect condition. I went to the town to get a permit and was told
I could not use the foundation as during the period after it was poured the
town passed a zoning law that prohibited a house within 50 feet of open
water- I had about 30 from one corner to a small man made frog pond.
I filed an appeal and went to the hearing. I also went to the library and
read the town zoning laws. When the board told me I had no grounds and
the saw no reason to allow me to build on it I told them the law was
written such that it prohibited construction of a primary dwelling but
an outbuilding was allowed to be built right up to the wetlands edge.
I then informed them I would leave the foundation there and use it as
a dog run for my 3 dogs- and the waste products would wind up in their
precious pond which drained into water company property. I was given
a variance. Hope you can find a solution also. Jim

Real Estate In The Boonies !!!!!!!!!

HI,Ah,the joy of living in the boonies. when i lived in ft Lauderdale,i had code enforcement at my house every week.they were real bas----s,i put an AC in my garage, they fined me $90.00 for not getting a permit to replace the old one.but the day i really loved was the day that they brought a blonde detective to my house "to inspect it"i told them go right ahead,as soon as you go and get a warrant. she decided to inspect without the warrant. i told her to not go into the garage, she ignored me,my 165 lb Rottweiler was waiting for her (he was on a chain) she entered into his territory, and he ALMOST got her. she was going to arrest me,i was laughing so hard, when my buddy (ft Lauderdale cop) came and ordered her off my property without a warrant.i seen the handwriting on the wall,so 1 month later i sold the house and moved to North Florida.i have 5 acres 7 cars, and the code man is a friend. NOBODY bothers me here. nearest neighbor is about 600 ft from me.(nice guy) move to the country guys, you will LOVE it.

lol....
There is nothing like waking up to a bunch of roosters. Something else that is very annoying would be firing up a old JD johnnypopper at six in the morning.
